19/12/2024 - Ignorance -> not my problem.

Things have been moving fast lately. I’ve found myself in a new flow with life and work. Back in June, I lost my job as a Game Architect. It was a shock at the time, but learning recently that the company is being sold has made it easier to digest. After that, I decided to return to my waitress days at a local bar/restaurant in Verbier. That lasted a little over two months, and trust me, that was enough!

Since then, I’ve been reflecting on what I truly want to do with my time. One thing I knew for sure: I wanted to do something I loved or at least liked. Something fulfilling. I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of grinding away at something I don’t care about. But when it comes to a project I’m passionate about, I give it my all.

During my time in Peru, I noticed a renewed interest in my astrology work. So many people wanted birth chart (map of the sky at someone's time of birth) readings, and I ended up earning a lot in just a few weeks during and after the trip. It reignited the possibility of going all in as a full-time Astrologer, just like I did when I was traveling five years ago.

The difference now? Back then, I believed in myself, but I lacked the depth of understanding about the topic I have today. I also didn’t have the determination or the detachment from what others think that I’ve developed over time.

Because I've always been attracted to "spirituality", and the different esoteric tools, but also feared to be categorized as a hobo/hippy/crazy woo-hoo bitch. And therefore loose my credibility. But I now understand that I have nothing to fear about it. I'd never judge someone for an interest I know only little about. Which makes the ones who do, act from a place of ignorance.

And I would be interested to debate with someone who studied thoroughly Astrology; ancient civilizations and their uses of it, the different zodiacs, hellenistic approach or at least have an understanding of the anthropological and scientific background. But the ones who surface level researched about it and dare calling it a fraud. Again, ignorance -> not my problem.

All this to say that I am in full comfort right now of being categorized as a weird witch if I can deliver my knowledge to the people that desire it. Because I know I’m damn good at what I do, and it would be a waste not to use this gift, especially knowing the kind of impact (and yes, income) it can bring. Here is the link to my website :
